Just a bit of maintenance of the site: news dates where plainly wrong! I'm also testing Webtrend Live, feedback about any error is more than welcome! Regarding the bad experience with the Crescendo plug-in, I suggest to get Ad-Aware from Lavasoft to see if you have one of those spy-ware alike software installed.

Changed the Blue Ribbon Campain banner to Electronic Frontier Foundation and completely removed the Golden Key Campain (as it seems dead...). Also added the W3C Validation banner and a few changes to the Italian site too.

BTW: I just wanted to say sorry to anyone who started having problems under Windows 2000 after downloading the Crescendo plug-in I used to play the MIDI file. The problem was that the plug-in installed behind the scene (actually there should be something in the licence aggreement) WebHancer, a sort of spy-ware, that crashed almost everything when trying to access the network under Windows 2000. I don't even want to comment about it, the player has been replaced with a standard Windows Media Player now. Sorry again.

The site is back again!

After a long period without updates and several weeks of unavailability, I've finally managed to do a major restyling of the whole site and have it back online again.

The site is now completely based on Cascading Style Sheets, so I can change the whole look in a couple of minutes now (and yes I know the current look is not so good but hey after all I'm just a DBA )

I also standardized the naming convention of all the pages that now have the correct .shtml suffix.

For those of you who knew how was to site before, the SQL Server FAQ is still offline, I still have to find the time clean up the code and release it.

Currently the Italian version of the site is a bit more updated (the Curriculum Vitae is an example). I'll try to keep up updates for both sites.
